Product quality (Semax 0.1%, 10 mg)
Our Semax peptide product has been tested by a certified Polish laboratory. The results can be seen in the product gallery.
What does the product package (Semax 0.1%, 10 mg) contain?
The ordered product will come packaged in a sturdy tube resistant to transport damage, and inside you will find:
- 10 ml powder vial containing Mannitol + Semax acetate 10 mg + GHK-Cu 5 mg
- Saline vial 10 ml
- Atomiser (for spraying a portion of solution onto a laboratory glass slide)
- Funnel (helps pour solvent into the peptide vial)
It is worth noting that the lyophilised powder will be blue-white in colour due to the presence of the GHK-Cu peptide. The volume of powder in the vial may appear small, but this does not affect the peptide content measured in milligrams.
The safety data sheet (SDS) for this product can be downloaded here
How to prepare a solution for laboratory testing?
- unscrew the stoppers from both vials
- Transfer the liquid from the liquid vial to the powder vial
- cap the vial with the powder with the original stopper
- Mix carefully (no sudden movements)
- unscrew the plug, remove the ring from the seal (important to keep it tight) and screw on the atomizer
We obtained 10 ml of 0.1% solution, which is enough for approximately 70 atomiser presses of 142 mcg Semax.
Storage and transportation
In dry form, the peptide should be stored at room temperature away from direct sunlight. Even longer transport by courier will not affect the stability and quality of the product.
In wet form (after solution preparation), the peptide should be refrigerated at all times and used within 40 days.
Research use of the product (Semax 0.1%, 10 mg)
Semax 0.1% is designed for for in vitro research use only. In laboratory conditions, it may be used as a research reagent, in particular for:
- conducting molecular and cellular research requiring work with small amounts of peptide;
- analyses of processes related to cell signalling;
- evaluation of the expression of selected biological markers;
- studies on the interactions of short peptides with selected protein systems characteristic of cells with a neuronal phenotype;
- conducting optimisation procedures and comparative studies requiring stable and well-defined test solutions;
- observation of droplets, sediments and crystalline structures using optical and polarised microscopy;
- analyses of the size and distribution of droplets produced by the atomiser, including by applying samples to laboratory glass slides;
- determinations of the size and distribution of aggregates present in solution by dynamic light scattering (DLS);
- conducting UV-Vis spectrophotometric analyses, within a range appropriate for the properties of the tested peptide and the analytical method used.
