What is CJC-1295 No DAC
CJC-1295 No DAC, in combination with ipamorelin, represents a set of synthetic peptides designed as research tools for the analysis of hormonal axis regulation related to growth hormone secretion. CJC-1295 No DAC is a short-acting growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH) analogue lacking an albumin-binding motif, while ipamorelin belongs to the group of selective ghrelin receptor agonists (GHS-R). Both peptides have been developed and characterised as part of research into the physiological control of pulsatile peptide hormone secretion. Their good solubility in aqueous media and predictable physicochemical properties make them frequently used in experimental models.
In preclinical studies, the CJC-1295 No DAC + ipamorelin kit was used to analyse the mechanisms of G-protein-coupled membrane receptor activation and to assess the reciprocal modulation of GHRH- and ghrelin-dependent signalling pathways. Its use in studies on the regulation of gene expression, phosphorylation of signalling proteins and changes in hypothalamic-pituitary axis activity in in vitro and in vivo models was described. Attention was also drawn to the possibility of studying the dynamics of cellular responses to peptide stimuli under controlled conditions.
Due to the precisely defined chemical structure of both components and the high reproducibility of the observed effects in experimental models, the combination of CJC-1295 No DAC and ipamorelin is used as a research tool in molecular biology, cell biology and experimental pharmacology. In the scientific literature, it is sometimes used as a reference system for analyses of receptor-ligand interactions, characterisation of signalling pathways and validation of analytical methods used to study peptides that regulate endocrine function. The preparation is intended for research work only.
