Product quality (Selank 20 mg)

Our Selank peptide product has been tested by a certified Polish laboratory. The results can be seen in the product gallery.

What does the product (Selank 20 mg) package contain?

The ordered product will come packaged in a sturdy tube resistant to transport damage, and inside you will find:

  • Powder vial: (Mannitol + Selank acetate 20 mg + 5 mg GHK-Cu)
  • Saline vial 10 ml
  • Atomiser (for spraying a portion of solution onto a laboratory glass slide)
  • Funnel (helps pour solvent into the peptide vial)

It is worth noting that the lyophilised powder will be blue-white in colour due to the presence of the GHK-Cu peptide. The volume of powder in the vial may appear small, but this does not affect the peptide content measured in milligrams.

The safety data sheet (SDS) for this product can be downloaded here

How to prepare a solution for laboratory testing?

  • unscrew the stoppers from both vials
  • Transfer the liquid from the liquid vial to the powder vial
  • cap the vial with the powder with the original stopper
  • Mix carefully (no sudden movements)
  • unscrew the cap and screw on the atomiser

The vial contains 70 puffs of 285 mcg Selanc.

Storage and transportation

In dry form, the peptide should be stored at room temperature away from direct sunlight. Even longer transport by courier will not affect the stability and quality of the product.

In wet form (after solution preparation), the peptide should be refrigerated at all times and used within 40 days.

Research use of the product (Selank 20 mg)

The product is intended exclusively for in vitro research work and acts as a specialised reagent used in molecular and cellular analyses of nervous system function. In the laboratory environment, it is used in, among other things:

  • studying the interaction of short peptides with selected cellular structures, receptors and markers involved in neuronal and neurochemical signalling,

  • to assess the effects on the expression of regulatory and neurotrophic factors in controlled cell cultures,

  • analysis of changes in protein profiles and activity of potential signalling pathways specific to cells with a neuronal and neuroglial phenotype,

  • supporting validation procedures, benchmarking and optimisation tests in molecular biology, biochemistry and neurochemistry research.

  • observation of droplets, sediments and crystalline structures using optical and polarising microscopy.
  • analyses of the size and distribution of droplets produced by the atomiser, including by depositing them onto a microscope slide;
  • determinations of the size and distribution of aggregates present in solution by dynamic light scattering (DLS);
  • carrying out UV-Vis spectrophotometric analyses,

Disclaimer

The product is not a medicine, food product or dietary supplement. The product is classified as a chemical reagent/reference material authorised in the European Union under the European REACH Act, and can only be used for scientific laboratory research.
