Product quality (Semax 1%, 60 mg)
Our Semax peptide product has been tested by a certified Polish laboratory. The results can be seen in the product gallery.
What does the product package (Semax 1%, 60 mg) contain?
The ordered product will come packaged in a sturdy tube resistant to transport damage, and inside you will find:
- Vial of powder (Mannitol + Semax acetate 60 mg + 5 mg GHK-Cu)
- Vial of saline 6ml
- Atomiser (for spraying a portion of solution onto a laboratory glass slide)
- Funnel (helps pour solvent into the peptide vial)
It is worth noting that the lyophilised powder will be blue-white in colour due to the presence of the GHK-Cu peptide. The volume of powder in the vial may appear small, but this does not affect the peptide content measured in milligrams.
The safety data sheet (SDS) for this product can be downloaded here
How to prepare a solution for laboratory testing?
- unscrew the stoppers from both vials
- Transfer the liquid from the liquid vial to the powder vial
- cap the vial with the powder with the original stopper
- Mix carefully (no sudden movements)
- unscrew the plug, remove the ring from the seal (important to keep it tight) and screw on the atomizer
We obtained 6 ml of 1% solution, which is enough for approximately 42 atomiser presses of 1.4 mg Semax each.
Storage and transportation
In dry form, the peptide should be stored at room temperature away from direct sunlight. Even longer transport by courier will not affect the stability and quality of the product.
In wet form (after solution preparation), the peptide should be refrigerated at all times and used within 40 days.
Research use of the product (Semax 1%, 60 mg)
The product is intended for research use only under conditions in vitro, where it serves as a specialised reagent for molecular and cellular analyses targeting neuron-associated signalling systems. In laboratory models, it is used to:
-
studies of the interactions of short peptides with selected cellular markers and receptors associated with neuronal signalling,
-
assessing the effects on the expression of regulatory and neurotrophic factors in cell cultures,
-
analyses of changes in protein levels and potential signalling pathways typical of cells with a neuron-like phenotype,
-
support for validation and comparison methods within molecular, biochemical and genetic analyses.
- observation of droplets, sediments and crystalline structures using optical and polarising microscopy.
- analyses of the size and distribution of droplets produced by the atomiser, including by depositing them onto a microscope slide;
- determinations of the size and distribution of aggregates present in solution by dynamic light scattering (DLS);
- carrying out UV-Vis spectrophotometric analyses,
Disclaimer
The product is not a medicine, food product or dietary supplement. The product is classified as a chemical reagent/reference material authorised in the European Union under the European REACH Act, and can only be used for scientific laboratory research.
