Product quality (NAD+ 500 mg + bacteriostatic water)

Our product containing NAD+ peptide has been tested by a certified Polish laboratory. The results can be seen in the product gallery.

What does the product packaging contain (NAD+ 500 mg + bacteriostatic water)?

The ordered product will come packaged in a sturdy tube resistant to transport damage, and inside you will find:

  • Sterile vial of NAD+ 500mg powder
  • Sterile vial containing 10 ml of bacteriostatic water (0.9% benzyl alcohol)

The product has an expiry date of a minimum of one year and a maximum of two years from the date of dispatch - depending on the batch.

The safety data sheet (SDS) for this product can be downloaded

How to prepare a solution for laboratory testing?

  1. Remove the caps from both vials.
  2. Apply spirit to a cotton swab and disinfect the elastics in both vials.
  3. Using an insulin syringe, transfer 10 ml of bacteriostatic water into the vial with the powder (down the side of the container)
  4. Roll the vial in your hands or spin the vial making a vortex until the solution dissolves. This activity can be done vigorously, it is important not to foam the solution with strong shaking.
  5. A solution prepared in this way gives us a concentration of 50 mg of NAD+ peptide per each 1 ml of solution, which from now on should be stored in the fridge

Storage and transportation

In dry form, the peptide should be stored at room temperature away from direct sunlight. Even longer transport by courier will not affect the stability and quality of the product.

Once prepared as a liquid, the product should be kept in the refrigerator at all times and used within 30 days.

Research application of the product (NAD+ 500 mg + bacteriostatic water)

The product is intended exclusively for in vitro research applications, where it is used as a specialised reagent in molecular and cellular analyses directed at redox homeostasis and energy metabolism mechanisms. In laboratory models, it is used for:

  • studies on the interactions of nucleotide cofactors with selected enzymes and structures responsible for electron transfer and catalytic activity,
  • assessments of the impact on the expression of regulatory and metabolic factors in cell cultures with varied phenotypes,
  • analyses of changes in protein levels and the activity of potential signalling pathways associated with the cellular response to metabolic and oxidative stress,
  • support for validation, comparative and optimisation procedures within molecular, biochemical and cell biology research.

Disclaimer

The product is not a medicinal product, foodstuff, or dietary supplement. The product is classified as a chemical reagent / reference material approved for marketing within the European Union under the European REACH regulation, and it may be used exclusively for laboratory scientific research. Educational materials about the NAD+ substance published on our website are written based on scientific research on the substance. This research was conducted by qualified research centres worldwide and does not refer to specific products.
