Product quality (Selank 60 mg)
Our Selank peptide product has been tested by a certified Polish laboratory. You can see the results in the product gallery.
What does the product package (Selank 60 mg) contain?
The ordered product will come packaged in a sturdy tube resistant to transport damage, and inside it you will find:
- Vial with powder: (Mannitol + Selank acetate 60 mg + 5 mg GHK-Cu)
- Vial of saline 10 ml
- Atomizer (for spraying a portion of the solution onto a laboratory slide)
- Funnel (helps pour solvent into the peptide vial)
It is worth noting that the lyophilized powder will be white and blue in color due to the presence of the GHK-Cu peptide. The volume of powder in the vial may seem small, but this does not affect the peptide content measured in milligrams.
The safety data sheet (SDS) for this product can be downloaded here
How to prepare the solution for the laboratory test?
- unscrew the stoppers from both vials
- Transfer the liquid from the liquid vial to the powder vial
- cap the vial with the powder with the original stopper
- Mix carefully (no sudden movements)
- unscrew the cap, remove the ring from the seal (important to keep it tight) and screw on the atomizer
The vial contains 70 puffs of 857 mcg Selanc.
Storage and transportation
In dry form, the peptide should be stored at room temperature away from direct sunlight. Even longer transportation by courier will not affect the stability and quality of the product.
In wet form (after preparing the solution), the peptide should be in the refrigerator all the time and used up within 40 days.
Research use of the product (Selank 60 mg)
The product is intended exclusively for in vitro research applications and is used as a specialized reagent in molecular and cellular experiments relating to processes within the nervous system. In laboratory practice, it is used in, among other things:
-
analyzing the interactions of short peptides with specific cellular structures, receptors, and markers involved in neuronal and neurochemical signaling pathways,
-
To evaluate the effects on the regulation of the expression of control and neurotrophic factors in standardized cell cultures,
-
studying changes in the composition and levels of proteins and in the activity of potential signaling cascades typical of neuronal and glial-like cells,
-
Supporting validation procedures, comparative analyses and optimization steps in molecular biology, biochemistry and neurochemistry research.
- observation of droplets, sediments, and crystalline structures using optical and polarization microscopy.
- analyses of the size and distribution of droplets produced by the atomizer, including by depositing them on a microscope slide;
- evaluation of the size and distribution of aggregates present in the solution by dynamic light scattering (DLS);
- performing UV-Vis spectrophotometric analyses,
