Methylene blue (raw material, pure powder) was tested for heavy metals. A negligible amount of heavy metals was found. In the finished product, the percentage of heavy metals is even less, as the product contains 3 g of methylene blue per 100 ml.

Methylene blue should be tested for heavy metal content, because on the market, in addition to pharmaceutical-quality methylene blue, there is also industrial-quality methylene blue, and it by the way of production contains a large amount of heavy metals.

One drop of the solution contains 1.5mg of Methylene Blue.

Storage and transportation

The product can be stored at room temperature away from direct sunlight

The 3% solution of methylene blue is close to its maximum saturation, which is about 4.3%. Methylene blue at this concentration can dry out on the pipette walls at lower temperatures to form greenish crystals.
