Product quality (DSIP 10 mg + bacteriostatic water)

Our product containing the DSIP peptide has been tested by a certified Polish laboratory. The results can be seen in the product gallery.

What does the product package contain (DSIP 10 mg + bacteriostatic water)?

The ordered product will come packaged in a sturdy tube resistant to transport damage, and inside it you will find:

  • Sterile vial with DSIP acetate 10mg powder + (peptide stabilizer – mannitol)
  • Sterile vial of 3 ml bacteriostatic water (0.9% benzyl alcohol)

The product has an expiration date of a minimum of one year and a maximum of two years from the date of shipment - depending on the batch.

The safety data sheet (SDS) for this product can be downloaded

How to prepare the solution for the laboratory test?

  1. Remove the caps from both vials.
  2. Apply spirit to a cotton swab and disinfect the rubber bands in both vials.
  3. Using an insulin syringe, pour 3ml of bacteriostatic water into the powder vial (along the wall of the vessel)
  4. Roll the vial in your hands or spin the vial making a vortex until the solution dissolves. This activity can be done vigorously, it is important not to foam the solution with strong shaking.
  5. A solution prepared in this way gives us a concentration of 500 mcg of DSIP peptide per each 0.15 ml of solution, which from now on should be stored in the refrigerator

Storage and transportation

In dry form, the peptide should be stored at room temperature away from direct sunlight. Even longer transportation by courier will not affect the stability and quality of the product.

In wet form (after preparing the solution), the peptide should be in the refrigerator all the time and used up within 30 days.

Research application of the product (DSIP 10 mg + bacteriostatic water)

The product is intended exclusively for research use under in vitro conditions, where it is used as a specialized reagent in molecular and cellular analyses aimed at the mechanisms of central nervous system homeostasis and peptide signaling. In laboratory models, it is used to:

  • studies on the interactions of short peptides with selected neuronal markers and structures responsible for signal transmission and cellular activity,
  • assessments of the impact on the expression of regulatory factors in cell cultures with a differentiated phenotype,
  • analyses of changes in protein levels and the activity of potential signaling pathways related to the cellular response to stimulation and environmental stress,
  • support for validation, comparative, and optimization procedures in molecular, biochemical, and neurobiological research.

Disclaimer

The product is not a drug, food product or dietary supplement. The product is classified as a chemical reagent/reference material authorized in the European Union under the European REACH Act, and can only be used for laboratory scientific research.
