What is the BPC-157?
BPC-157 (Body Protection Compound-157) is a synthetic peptide composed of fifteen amino acids, the sequence of which corresponds to a stable fragment of an endogenous protein present in mammalian gastric secretions. It was described and characterized in the 1990s in the context of research on peptides involved in tissue protective and adaptive mechanisms. Due to its high chemical stability and good solubility in aqueous media, the compound has proven to be a useful model for analyzing peptide signaling processes outside the central nervous system.
In preclinical studies, BPC-157 has been used to explore mechanisms regulating tissue balance, the formation of new vascular structures and cellular responses to physical and chemical damaging stimuli. The literature describes its involvement in modulating the expression of selected growth mediators and elements of signaling pathways associated with VEGF, eNOS and FAK, among others, as well as its effect on cytoskeletal organization under experimental conditions, both in cell cultures and in animal models.
Due to its unambiguously defined molecular structure and the reproducibility of the observed effects in research models, BPC-157 is used as an experimental tool in molecular biology, cell biology and pharmacology. It is also being used as a reference peptide in the analysis of cell migration, regenerative processes and in the validation of analytical methods used in the study of short bioactive peptides. The formulation is intended for research use only.

Product quality (Bpc 157, 20 mg)
Our Bpc 157 peptide product has been tested by a certified Polish laboratory. The results can be seen in the product gallery
What does the product package (Bpc 157, 20 mg) contain?
The ordered product will come packaged in a sturdy tube resistant to transport damage, and inside it you will find:
- Vial of Bpc 157 powder (Mannitol + Bpc 157 arginate 20 mg + GHK-CU 5 mg).
- Vial of fluid 10 ml (saline with 3%DMSO)
- Atomizer (for spraying a portion of the solution onto a laboratory slide)
- Funnel (helps pour solvent into the peptide vial)
It is worth noting that the lyophilized powder will be white and blue in color due to the presence of the GHK-Cu peptide. The volume of powder in the vial may seem small, but this does not affect the peptide content measured in milligrams.
The safety data sheet (SDS) for this product can be downloaded here
How to prepare the solution for the laboratory test?
- unscrew the stoppers from both vials
- Transfer the liquid from the liquid vial to the powder vial
- cap the vial with the powder with the original stopper
- Mix carefully (no sudden movements)
- unscrew the cap, remove the ring from the seal (important to keep it tight) and screw on the atomizer
The vial contains 70 puffs of 285 mcg each of Bpc 157.
Storage and transportation
In dry form, the peptide should be stored at room temperature away from direct sunlight. Even longer transportation by courier will not affect the stability and quality of the product.
In wet form (after preparing the solution), the peptide should be in the refrigerator all the time and used up within 40 days.
Research use of the product (Bpc 157, 20 mg)
The formulation is designed exclusively for in vitro research work and serves as a reagent used in molecular biology and cell biology experiments focused on tissue balance processes and regenerative mechanisms. Its applications in laboratory research include:
-
Analysis of the interaction of short peptides with selected cellular markers and elements involved in cell adhesion and movement,
-
To evaluate the effect on the expression level of regulatory and growth factors in cell cultures with different phenotypic characteristics,
-
studying changes in protein expression and the activity of signaling pathways associated with the cellular response to damage and stress factors,
-
Supporting validation, comparison and optimization procedures carried out in molecular, biochemical and cellular research.
- observation of droplets, sediments, and crystalline structures using optical and polarization microscopy.
- analyses of the size and distribution of droplets produced by the atomizer, including by depositing them on a microscope slide;
- evaluation of the size and distribution of aggregates present in the solution by dynamic light scattering (DLS);
- performing UV-Vis spectrophotometric analyses,
